On November 1st, our team had the privilege of heading down to Wahpeton, North Dakota, to teach the “Truck Ryder’s Anthem” class at the Southeast North Dakota Fire School.
This wasn’t a classroom PowerPoint kind of deal — this was hands-on, down-and-dirty truck work. We spent the day teaching firefighters the core skills every truckie needs to have wired tight:
- Forcible Entry — making the door when seconds count.
- Search — finding the victim, finding the fire, and staying oriented when conditions go to zero.
- Ladders — throwing, climbing, venting, and working efficiently with a crew that knows its roles.
- And all the other “truck” fundamentals that build confidence and competence when the tones drop.
Our goal with this class was simple: help firefighters sharpen the skills that save lives — theirs and the people they’re sworn to protect.
We believe in giving back to the fire service that gave us everything. Supporting local and regional fire schools is one of the ways we do that. We’re firefighters first and a business second — and when we can share knowledge, sponsor training, or put tools in the hands of firefighters, that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
Big thanks to everyone who attended the class and to the instructors who worked their tails off to make it a success. Watching firefighters push themselves, learn new techniques, and leave better than they arrived — that’s what it’s all about.
We are here for YOU, so you can be there for THEM.
